Better Through Books: Exploring Wellness & Resiliency with the Wellness Consortium Part 1

As we all navigate the destabilizing changes of COVID-19 and try to find our bearings amidst heightened stress and uncertainty, the Belmont Public Library  is offering some much needed support around mental health and wellness as part of our Better Through Books programs. Join Wellness Consortium founder Katie Martin for a special two part series via Zoom to help you enhance resilience during times of adversity; this is the first part of the series.

Martin will discuss and guide attendees through some simple and practical tools to support folks managing difficult emotions. These practices will be rooted in mindfulness and self compassion and accessible to all ages and academic levels. No previous knowledge of or experience with meditation is necessary. All are welcome.
