Better Through Books: Get Outside & Move! Nature Walk Session #2

This event was originally scheduled on April 17th but due to inclement weather has been moved to Saturday, May 8th.

Get your body and brain moving on a nature walk with a twist as part of our Better Through Books: Healing Community Together Community Read! This is the second of two identical walks to give multiple opportunities for people to get out and move in a safe manner. No need to register for both unless you want to do the same walk twice!

Kim of Your Health Sense will lead this fun and energizing walk throughout Habitat Education Center & Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont. There will be 7 stops on the 0.71 mile walk  with various functional body weight movements to strengthen your core, legs and more. Kim will demonstrate moves with form modifications if needed. Please wear appropriate footwear, dress in layers, bring a water bottle and wear a mask.

We also ask that you sign a few waivers, for safety's sake: you can find the general responsibility waiver here and the COVID-19 waiver here. If you can, please print and fill out the forms prior to your arrival - Kim will also have copies available the day of. The waivers must be completed in order to participate in the nature walk.

The group will meet at 7:45AM at Habitat's entrance.
