The author of the much-admired Tolstoy and the Purple Chair, Nina Sankovitch will be discussing her book Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Celebrating the Joys of Letter Writing to celebrate the return of the Books & Bites program series. In this beautifully written book, Sankovitch goes on a quest through the history of letters and her own personal correspondence to discover and celebrate what is special about the handwritten letter. She reminds us that letters offer proof and legacy of what is most important in life: love and connection. In the end, she finds, the letters we write are even more important than the ones we wait for.
