Celebrate Earth Day: Learn How to Build Your Own Rain Harvesting System REGISTER

Thursday, April 187:00—8:00 PMOnline

Join high school student Madeline Abrams for a virtual program to learn how to create a rainwater harvesting system for your community.

Using otherwise discarded plastic water bottles, Madeline captures the rainfall that comes off of a roof to create an irrigation system for vegetable gardens, farms and landscapes. She has presented her rainwater harvesting system to 45 communities in New York, California, Uganda, Namibia, Lesotho, Angola and South Africa. Her invention is being shared with villages and communities as a way to conserve water and upcycle plastic waste.

After the Zoom presentation, Madeline will share the instructional video she created as a reference to build her watering system to help communities harvest every drop. Learn more at https://www.harvesteverydrop.com/
