Virtual Concert with Davis Bates and Roger Tincknell

Thursday, July 910:30—11:00 AMOnline

Enjoy some fun folk music that kids and their grown ups will love in this virtual concert with musicians and storytellers Davis Bates and Roger Tincknell. Belmont Public Library will celebrate its annual summer reading program by presenting, via Zoom, Parents’ Choice Award winning performers Davis Bates & Roger Tincknell in a participatory program of songs & stories for all ages.

Entitled Imagine That!, the program celebrates reading, summer, and the diversity and wonder of our cultural heritage. Hear how the bear missed the train, how coyote got his howl, and be prepared to sing, move and dance. There will even be a short lesson on how to play music with spoons from a kitchen drawer and an appearance by a dancing dog made from recycled scraps of wood and leather named Bingo.

Recommended for ages 4 and up or music fans of all ages.
