Researching living descendants of your ancestors can give your family history new life and excitement. Learn what traditional genealogy and reverse genealogy have in common and how they differ. We will discuss the reasons for conducting the research along with proper methodology, sources and some exciting websites to explore.

This presentaton will be led by Michael Brophy of Brophy Professional Genealogy and Heir Searching. Michael Brophy is a nationally known, professional genealogical researcher, heir search specialist, and lecturer from the Boston area. His currently the Vice President of the Council for the Advancement of Forensic Genealogy (CAFG) and the first Treasurer of the New England of Association of Professional Genealogists. Mike earned an MBA degree from Suffolk University and a BBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
