Jewish Storytelling: Dreams and the Wind

Wednesday, December 77:00—8:00 PMAssembly RoomBelmont Public Library336 Concord Avenue, Belmont, MA, 02478

Storyteller Anna Sobel brings to life Jewish folktales of wonder and adventure, each of which centers on the theme of either dreams or the wind. When things work out for the best, some call it synchronicity, others divine intervention. Either way, along the journey you’ll meet delightful characters and hear fantastic stories, all embodied in Anna’s uniquely engaging style.

This program debuted at the National Yiddish Book Center in February 2020.

Anna Sobel hails from Shutesbury, MA. She performs puppet shows and Jewish storytelling all over New England as Talking Hands Theatre. She holds a master’s degree in Educational Theater and studied puppetry in India on a Fulbright Fellowship.  She is also a Jewish educator, jazz singer, and the mother of two silly little boys.
