Neurodiversity: Ally Guide with the Lark Center REGISTER
Wednesday, April 237:00—8:00 PMOnline

Join us for a virtual program put on by the Lark Center and the Belmont Public Library to learn about neurodiversity and the best ways to be an ally.
Everyone has a set of strengths and weaknesses unique to them. The neurodiversity movement celebrates the various ways brains work, and asserts we are stronger as a society because of our differences. Now, more than ever, it is essential to increase our awareness AND acceptance of neurodiversity. In this webinar, we will explore what neurodiversity encompasses, define key vocabulary, and discuss strategies to be a supportive and accepting ally for all neurotypes.
The Lark Center is an organization focused on making neurodiversity-affirming, multidisciplinary best practices the norm in schools, clinics, and community organizations. They aim to provide outreach within communities to increase meaningful educational, recreational, social, and functional opportunities.
Presented in collaboration with the Jones Library, Maynard Public Library, Newton Free Library, Morse Institute Library, Haverhill Public Library, Lynnfield Public Library, and Reading Public Library.
Registration is required. Please fill out the form here to sign up or call 617-993-2870 to register. Zoom access details will be sent in a reminder email prior to the program.
