Thursday, March 147:00—8:00 PMHealth Room, Beech Street Center
Hybrid - online and in-person

We all know the adage, "those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Don't be a victim - instead join librarians Lauren Pfendner and Chris Tremblay for an engrossing read of historical nonfiction every month. March's selection is You Never Forget Your First: A Biography of George Washington by Alexis Coe. An NPR Concierge Best Book of the Year 2020, the Boston Globe had this to say about Coe's work: “In her form-shattering and myth-crushing book….Coe examines myths with mirth, and writes history with humor… [You Never Forget Your First] is an accessible look at a president who always finishes in the first ranks of our leaders.”

This book club for adults & teens will be held in hybrid format - both online through Zoom and in person at the Beech Street  Center. Register to let us know you're coming and you will receive the Zoom link either way. Copies of the book will be available for pickup at the library's temporary location at Beech Street Center (266 Beech Street, Belmont, MA.)
