Page of Enlightenment History Book Club
Thursday, October 107:00—8:00 PMOnline
We all know the adage, "those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Don't be a victim - instead join librarians Lauren Pfendner and Chris Tremblay for an engrossing read of historical nonfiction every month. October's selection is Blind Man's Bluff: The Untold Story of American Submarine Espionage by Sherry Sontag & Christopher Drew. A New York Times bestseller, Booklist described Blind Man's Bluff as "Excellent history . . . that reads like a Tom Clancy novel."
This book club for adults & teens will be held online through Zoom. Copies of the book are available across from the Circulation Desk at the Library's temporary location in the Beech Street Center (266 Beech St.)
