We all know the adage, "those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Don't be a victim - instead join librarians Lauren Pfendner and Chris Tremblay for an engrossing read of historical nonfiction every month. December's selection is Never Caught: The Washingtons' Relentless Pursuit of Their Runaway Slave, Ona Judge by Erica Armstrong Dunbar. A finalist for the National Book Award for Nonfiction, Dunbar's work is described as "beautifully written and utilizing previously untapped sources, it sheds new light both on the father of our country and on the intersections of slavery and freedom" by Eric Foner, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Fiery Trial and Gateway to Freedom.

This book club for adults & teens will be held online through Zoom. Register to receive the link to join. Copies of the book will be available for pickup at the library. Questions? Email Chris Tremblay at ctremblay@minlib.net.
