Thursday, January 157:00—8:00 PMOnline
We all know the adage, "those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Don't be a victim - instead join librarians Lauren Pfendner and Chris Tremblay for an engrossing read of historical nonfiction every month. January's selection is Valley Forge by Bob Drury & Tom Clavin. Originally released in 2018, Booklist wrote of Drury and Clavin's work: "All of the grisly details of supply failures, corruption, conspiracy, bureaucratic waste, and the reforms that resurrected the American cause are exquisitely well told in this exceptionally vivid history, one that will please all who are interested in the revolutionary era and American history in general."
This book club for adults & teens will be held online through Zoom. Register to receive the link to join.
