We all know the adage, "those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Don't be a victim - instead join librarians Lauren Pfendner and Chris Tremblay for an engrossing read of historical nonfiction every month. March's selection is Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln's Killer by James L. Swanson. Doris Kearns Goodwin wrote of this Edgar Award-winning work: "a terrific narrative of the hunt for Lincoln’s killers that will mesmerize the reader from start to finish.”
This book club for adults & teens will be held online through Zoom and in person in the Waverley Oaks Room. Register to receive the link to join for Zoom, or to let us know you'll be in person.
