Tai Chi - Hybrid!

Hybrid - online and in-person

Live and in person at the library for the first time in over 2 years - as well as online! Tai Chi practitioner and coach, Aisling O'Shea, will guide you through this beautiful and low impact form of martial art and meditation. No equipment necessary; just wear comfortable clothing!  These movements may be adapted for standing, walking, or sitting. This class will provide an overview of the basic concepts of Tai Chi and Qi Gong; a general outline is as follows:

Part 1
Qigong/Tai Chi Basics – 10 mins
Tai Chi Easy (5 movements) – 30 mins
Qigong practice (8-organ harmony) – 15 mins
Break – 5 mins

Part 2
Seated Qigong meditation/breath practice – 15 mins
Moving meditation – 15 mins
